I’m writing about surfing in a brief paper for my Spanish class. I need help with finding the right words and whatnot….

how do you say surfboard?
tabla de surf??
what is the equivalent to — Traverse
as in traversing the wave.

Please share any other words that you think would help me out! thanks!!

Surfing as a noun: surfeo
As a verb: surfeando
Surf board: tabla de surfeo
Waves: olas
Traverse: atravesar OR cruzar
Ride the wave: Correr la ola
(That’s all I can think of for now.)
