I was answering a question in my Spanish lesson and apparently the teacher didn’t like my answer. She told me literally ‘you speak like you’re performing on stage’ What does that mean??!! and is it sort of an insult?

he has a poor way of saying that you are speaking artificially… focus on what you want to say, and let it come out naturally…. in natural conversation, in any language, we convey our ideas, feelings and intent: : not merely words…. precision in pronunciation comes with continued practice…. stage actors must understand this clearly, when delivering their lines. so must actors working in front of a camera..
